Electrical Wiring Kit – everything you will need to wire up the electrical equipment in a typical ultralight aircraft such as a Challenger including the following:

Electrical Station – Open Chassis electrical system for Challenger assembled in a metal box made from sturdy .080 aluminum. Comes with the following features:

• Battery cable connection posts and terminal strips for wiring the Challenger Ultralight instrument panel and the remote engine sensors.
• Common ground wiring bus – screw down terminal strip.
• Connections are labelled for easy wiring for those unfamiliar with electrical circuits.
• 4 threaded vibration absorbing mounting feet.
• An 8 station surface mount fuse block for the Master circuit plus 7 Accessory circuits.
• Hidden anti-theft switch.
• Includes a selection of 100 electrical terminal connectors to complete aircraft instrument panel wiring and electrical system wiring.

Fuse Block – 8 station fuse holder block with 30 Amp capacity per circuit, 65 Amps total. Surface mounts for mounting on face of instrument panel. 1/4″ push-on tabs for wires enter and exit out the bottom. 10-32 threaded metal mounting holes with screws. Comes with snap on clear cover. 4-1/2″ long x 1-1/4″ wide x 1-5/8″ high.

Terminal Strip Wiring Bus – 8 station screw down terminal block with jumpers that make the entire unit a common circuit. Excellent for use as a common ground bus or a common positive bus. Surface mounts with 4 mounting holes. 16 screw terminals with #6 size screws. 3-5/8″ long x 7/8″ wide x 1/2″ high. Can be used as a standard junction block if jumper strip is removed.

Electrical Push In Terminal Strip – 12 station terminal strip for 14 to 20 gauge wires. Simply strip end of wire, push in and screw down. No need for wire connectors. Excellent for use as a junction block. Surface mounts with #4 screw size hole between each circuit. 3-3/4″ long x 5/8″ wide x 5/8″ high. Can be cut up into smaller sections i.e. 2 x 6 station strips.

Coloured Toggle Switch Caps – These vinyl toggle covers enable the builder to colour code switch functions. This adds a safety factor and ease of use to the instrument panel switches. Plus they look great! 24 covers – 4 each of red, black, white, grey, blue and yellow.

Coloured Mini Toggle Switch Caps – These vinyl toggle covers enable the builder to colour code the switch functions of miniature toggle switches with 0.10″ toggles. These are the small toggles often found on radios, intercoms, and transponders. This adds a safety factor and ease of use to the instrument panel switches. Plus they look great! 15 covers – 5 each of red, black, and yellow.

TIE DOWN RINGS – Stainless Steel Tie Down Rings for adding to strut tubes at the bracket attachment point on the wing. 1/4 inch holes match the mounting bolt on Challenger. Includes extra long bolts to accommodate additional length.

Brass Fuel Line Fittings – All metal barbed fittings will not deteriorate over time due to UV rays or exposure to fuel like plastic fittings will. Double barb ensures strong reliable connection. Three fitting configurations used in Challenger fuel system :

Door Edging – Black U-shaped door edging same as supplied in the Challenger kit. Used to cover the sharp edges of the lexan doors, wind screen, and the instrument panel. Has an internal bead of adhesive to glue it to the lexan. Prevents the lexan from chafing the paint and giving pilots nasty cuts.
